AFTER SCHOOL CARE PROGRAMS

LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT TYPE OF AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR YOUR CHILD? For the second year in a row, Our Recreational Busybodies programs will be offered to children ages 6 to 11 attending B. M. Williams and Crestwood Intermediate schools.  These unique programs focus on exercising children’s bodies and brains. The programs consist of two components.  BODIES, our recreational program, is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Participants use, reinforce, and/or develop memory, cooperative learning, and agility skills while participating in organized activities, arts and crafts projects, and open play in our arena.  A snack and study hall period is provided from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Organized activities and open play is from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  BRAINS, our tutoring program, is held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Participants receive tutoring in areas you or your child request. Enrichment-type lessons and/or activities will be provided in designated areas individually or collectively.  This program also assists children with homework, test/quiz preparation, and material review.  Snacks and recess is included. Participants will also enjoy our FUN FRIDAY activities each Friday where a movie (PG, PG-13), pizza, and popcorn is served.  Let our highly qualified staff provide top notch after school recreational activities and tutoring for your children in a clean, loving, safe, and wholesome environment. Our Recreational Busybodies programs observe all federal holidays and follow the Chesapeake Public Schools Calendar.  Chesapeake Public Schools will provide transportation to our facility after school from B.
